Augmented Reality & Realtime planning
How to close the gap between the world of high-tech research and reality of the skill sets in the most of planning departures around the world? What if we use low cost hardware to detect user's hands and let computer make all heavy calculations as user draw? What if we can re-project all the data back to user's drawing so he knows how many people his sketch of the city can accommodate, how much the road will cost and how much agricultural land he will lose? All this questions we asked in Future Cities Laboratory and created this unique White board which use Augmented reality give power of realtime planning computing and statistical models literary under planners hands.
